God gave St. Anthony the gift of tongues and extraordinary eloquence to preach the Word with power, a gift so remarkable that he was sent to teach the first Franciscan friars theology at the direct request of St. Francis. St. James promises that anyone who asks God for wisdom in sincerity will receive it generously. Ask St. Anthony today to intercede for a deeper understanding of your Catholic faith, that you may know and love God more fully.
