Meditation for Day 4
The Christian world has confidently turned to St. Anthony across eight centuries of devotion precisely because he is known as a powerful helper in times of difficulty. St. Paul urges us to present every request to God with prayer and thanksgiving, and Anthony teaches us to do so with bold confidence in divine mercy. On this fourth day, bring before him without reserve the particular grace or need that weighs upon your heart.

O God, may the votive commemoration of blessed Anthony, your confessor, be a source of joy to your Church, that she may always be fortified with spiritual assistance, and deserve to enjoy eternal rewards. Through Christ our Lord. Amen. Saint Anthony, pray for us!
