1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using catholicchurchtimes.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Catholic Church Times provides a free, independent directory of Catholic Mass times, confession schedules, Eucharistic Adoration hours, and other parish information. Information is compiled from publicly available parish sources and user submissions. Schedules change; always verify Mass times with the parish before traveling.

3. Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service in compliance with applicable law and not to: (i) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service or its underlying infrastructure; (ii) scrape or systematically extract data using automated means without our prior written consent (machine-readable schedules are available — contact us); (iii) interfere with the operation of the Service; (iv) use the Service to harass, defame, or harm any person, parish, or organization; (v) submit false, misleading, or unauthorized parish information.

4. User Submissions

When you submit content (parish information, corrections, comments), you grant Catholic Church Times a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, modify, and distribute your submission as part of the Service. You represent that your submission does not infringe any third-party rights and that you have authority to submit it.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, original written content, logos, and aggregate data compilation, is the property of Catholic Church Times and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. The factual data about parishes (names, addresses, schedules) is not subject to copyright; the original written content (guides, descriptions) is.

6. Third-Party Content

The Service contains links to third-party websites and may display third-party advertisements. We do not endorse and are not responsible for third-party content, services, or practices. Your interactions with third parties are solely between you and those third parties.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. Mass times, confession schedules, and other parish information may change without notice. Always confirm with the parish.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CATHOLIC CHURCH TIMES, ITS OPERATORS, AND CONTRIBUTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. Our total cumulative liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Catholic Church Times from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

10. Independent Service Disclaimer

Catholic Church Times is an independent project. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Vatican, any episcopal conference, diocese, or individual parish.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice, including for any violation of these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
