Catholic Novenas

A novena is a nine-day cycle of prayer with deep roots in Catholic tradition. The Apostles prayed the very first novena with Mary between the Ascension and Pentecost (Acts 1:14); every novena since takes that as its model.

Each novena below includes a day-by-day guide with meditations, the daily prayer, and primary-source citations from vatican.va or from the religious orders that custodian the devotion.
