Day 6 of 9

Help in urgent and seemingly impossible needs

From the Novena to the Infant Jesus of Prague

Sacred Scripture: Luke 1:37

Meditation for Day 6

The devotion to the Infant of Prague is turned to especially in desperate situations, for the angel's word to Mary stands firm: 'nothing will be impossible with God' (Lk 1:37). What is beyond all human remedy is not beyond the reach of the Divine Child.

Today's prayer brings the most urgent and seemingly impossible need to the Infant Jesus, placing 'every need and care' in his hands, and trusting that his power is not limited by the hopelessness of the situation.

Daily Novena Prayer (recited every day)

Prayer of Thanksgiving to the Divine Infant Jesus

Divine Infant Jesus, I know You love me and would never leave me. I thank You for Your close Presence in my life. Miraculous Infant, I believe in Your promise of peace, blessings, and freedom from want. I place every need and care in Your hands. Lord Jesus, may I always trust in Your generous mercy and love. I want to honor and praise You, now and forever. Amen.

The traditional Prayer of Thanksgiving that concludes the Infant of Prague novena, preceded each day by the three petitions beginning "O Jesus, Who has said..." Recited each of the nine days.

Concluding prayers: Many novena traditions add one Our Father, one Hail Mary, and one Glory Be at the close of each day's prayer.
