Prayers for Your Children

The Guardian Angel prayer is most parents' first gift of faith to a child — and praying it for your children, at any age, is a venerable custom. Our Lady of Perpetual Help is the mother the Church turns to for mothers' intentions.

Traditional prayers

Guardian Angel Prayer (Angel of God)

Angel of God,
my guardian dear,
to whom God's love commits me here,
ever this day be at my side,
to light and guard, to rule and guide. Amen.
