About St. Anthony of Padua Chapel

Tracing its origins to 1849 when Fr. Augustin Ravoux built Minneapolis's first mission church, St. Anthony of Padua holds the distinction of being "The Mother Church of the Lakes" — the oldest Catholic parish in the city. Now stewarded by Catholic Eldercare since 2013, the historic 1868 stone church on the Albert J. Hofstede Campus serves residents, families, and neighbors, housing the Shrine of Our Lady of Perpetual Help alongside a regular weekday and Sunday Mass schedule.
