Annunciation Parish in Kiln, Mississippi traces its roots to 1869, when it was established as the "Three River Mission" serving the territory along the Wolf, Jourdan, and Pearl Rivers — making it one of the oldest Catholic communities on the Mississippi Gulf Coast within the Diocese of Biloxi. After Hurricane Katrina devastated the area in 2005, the original historic structure was preserved and now serves as a chapel for daily Mass and adoration, while the parish continues to offer weekday and two Sunday Masses for the surrounding rural community.
