About Basilica of St. Fidelis

Known as the "Cathedral of the Plains," the Basilica of St. Fidelis in Victoria, Kansas earned that nickname from William Jennings Bryan in 1912 — and has since been declared one of the 8 Wonders of Kansas, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and formally elevated to a minor basilica in 2014, the first in Kansas. Welcoming more than 16,000 visitors a year, the basilica in the Diocese of Salina offers two Sunday Masses, a Saturday vigil, and daily early-morning Mass throughout the week.
