Rooted in North Minneapolis, the Church of the Ascension serves a diverse, largely immigrant neighborhood in the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, pairing its Sunday and weekday Masses with quinceañera celebrations and a strong social- and racial-justice focus. Led by Fr. Dale Korogi, the parish anchors Ascension Catholic Academy and runs hands-on outreach including a food shelf and an emergency relief fund for immigrant families.
