St. Conrad
About St. Conrad
San Conrado Mission — known in English as St. Conrad — was founded in 1939 by Father Thomas Marin, C.M.F., to serve the roughly 250 working-class families of Mexican descent living in the hillside ravines of the Solano Avenue district below Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. The small chapel, part of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, features a side altar dedicated to Our Lady of Guadalupe and gathers the community for a single Sunday morning Mass.
