About St. Joseph

St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tacoma was founded in 1908 by the city's Slovak immigrant community, who dug the foundation themselves and saw the church dedicated in 1912. Now an Extraordinary Form parish in the Archdiocese of Seattle, it celebrates the traditional Latin Mass exclusively, with several Sunday Masses, daily Mass throughout the week, and a rich life of devotions including Terce, Vespers, and Benediction.
