St. Michael Catholic Community has served the men, women, and families of Travis Air Force Base since 1943, carrying out its motto "Grace is Everywhere" for a congregation of roughly 4,000 parishioners under Fr. Edwin Gomez. The parish holds two Sunday Masses and daily noon Mass on weekdays, and sustains an active ministry life—including the Catholic Women of the Chapel, Knights of Columbus, youth programs, and spiritual support during military deployments—within the Archdiocese for the Military Services USA.
