Founded in 1859 by Bishop James R. Bayley — nephew of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton and a cousin to Presidents Theodore and Franklin Roosevelt — Saint Ann in Hampton has served Warren County for more than 165 years. The current stone church, completed in 1867, anchors a community that calls itself "Grandma's House" and gathers for three Sunday Masses, daily weekday Mass, and a Saturday vigil, with active ministries including the Knights of Columbus and an Adoration Society, all within the Diocese of Metuchen.
