Founded in 1913 by the Paulist Fathers to serve Portland's Italian immigrant community, St. Philip Neri on SE 16th Avenue has grown into a multiethnic, welcoming parish within the Archdiocese of Portland. Today the church is known for its acclaimed music program and hosts Studio Lingua, an Italian immersion preschool, while gathering the faithful each Sunday morning and for a Saturday vigil Mass.
