The Basilica of Saint Mary of the Assumption in Lancaster, Ohio, is one of the Diocese of Columbus's most storied parishes, with Catholic roots in the city stretching back to around 1800. Elevated to a Minor Basilica on July 7, 2021, in recognition of its architectural beauty and liturgical heritage, the church offers seven Masses each week, a parish school (PreK–8th grade), a food pantry, and weekly Eucharistic exposition under the direction of Rector Msgr. Craig Eilerman.
