About San Francisco de Asis (World Heritage Site)

The San Francisco de Asis Mission Church in Ranchos de Taos is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most celebrated adobe churches in the American Southwest, built in the Spanish Colonial tradition and serving this northern New Mexico community within the Archdiocese of Santa Fe since the 18th century. Sunday Masses include a bilingual celebration, reflecting the deep Hispanic Catholic heritage of the Taos Valley.
