Founded in 1853 and known locally as a "hidden gem" of Anchorville, Immaculate Conception is one of the oldest Catholic parishes in the Archdiocese of Detroit. The parish runs its own school and offers three Sunday Masses plus daily morning Mass throughout the week, serving the lakeshore communities of Ira Township along Dixie Highway with a mission of being "grounded in spirit, anchored in faith."
