Founded in 1948, Our Lady of Lourdes serves the rural Fifth Ward community near Pineville in the Diocese of Alexandria, Louisiana. Pastor Rev. Kenneth Obiekwe, STD, leads the congregation through a full weekly schedule of morning Masses, a Saturday vigil, and devotional gatherings including the Divine Mercy Chaplet and First Friday Eucharistic Adoration from 2 to 5 pm.
