About St. Joseph

Founded in 1906 to serve Italian immigrant families in Pender County, St. Joseph in Burgaw, North Carolina, has grown into a multicultural parish of the Diocese of Raleigh drawing from three surrounding counties. Under pastor Fr. Steven DiMassimo, the parish celebrates Sunday Mass in both English and Spanish, offers weekday Masses and Wednesday Eucharistic Adoration, and its 1952 church building anchors a community with deep immigrant roots.
