Built in 1910 and long a mission of Santa Cruz de la Cañada, San Francisco de Asis at Nambe Pueblo is a living bridge between Catholic faith and the Nambe Pueblo people of northern New Mexico. The church's interior features Santos and Retablos artwork, and special feast-day Masses are celebrated alongside traditional Native American dances. It belongs to the Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe del Valle de Pojoaque parish family within the Archdiocese of Santa Fe.
