Founded in 1956, St. Bernadette in Duncannon, Pennsylvania holds a singular distinction: it is the only Catholic church located directly on the Appalachian Trail, making it a natural stop for pilgrims and hikers passing through the region. A mission parish of Our Lady of Good Counsel in Marysville, it is led by Father Walter Guzman and gathers a close-knit community for a Saturday vigil and Sunday morning Mass, supported by the Knights of Columbus, Legion of Mary, and an annual parish picnic.
