Established as a mission in 1963 to serve families west of Saint Brendan parish, St. Kevin grew rapidly after a large wave of Cuban immigration in the 1970s brought it to full parish status. Today the parish in southwest Miami's Westchester neighborhood counts more than 5,000 registered families and over forty active ministries. Five Sunday Masses—including three in Spanish at 9:30 AM, 1 PM, and 7 PM—plus Saturday morning and vigil Masses reflect the parish's enduring bilingual heart within the Archdiocese of Miami.
