San Antonio de Padua Mission

Founded on July 14, 1771, Mission San Antonio de Padua is one of California's oldest continuously active Catholic churches, nicknamed "The Mission That Time Forgot" for its remarkably preserved setting on 86 acres in the Valley of the Oaks near Jolon. Operated under the Diocese of Monterey, the mission hosts a Sunday 10:30 AM Mass, a museum, a retreat center, and annual events including Las Posadas and The Fiesta—drawing pilgrims and historians alike.
