About Saint Mary Magdalen

Established on June 29, 1993 by Bishop Kenneth Povish, Saint Mary Magdalen in Brighton, Michigan is a relatively young territorial parish of the Diocese of Lansing whose founding vision — "a community of simplicity, peace, joy, inspiration and renewal" — still shapes parish life today. The congregation gathers for Mass five days a week plus a Saturday vigil, and formation programs include Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, Totus Tuus summer Bible school, and the Confraternity of Christian Mothers. A new pastor, Fr. Corey, joined the parish in June 2026.
