Founded in 1947 at the invitation of Archbishop Urban Vehr, the Carmel of the Holy Spirit in Littleton is a cloistered community of Discalced Carmelite Nuns living under the Primitive Rule with papal enclosure. The sisters celebrate a daily Traditional Latin Mass at 6:30 AM and dedicate their lives to continuous intercessory prayer and penance for priests and the Archdiocese of Denver.
