About St. Pius V

Founded in the 1870s, St. Pius V Parish has long served the immigrant neighborhood of Pilsen on Chicago's Lower West Side, within the Archdiocese of Chicago. Four Spanish Masses and one English Mass are offered each Sunday, daily chapel Mass runs Monday through Friday in Spanish, and Wednesday brings St. Jude Shrine Masses at noon and 6:30 p.m. The parish also operates emergency food assistance, legal aid, and a full religious education program rooted in Catholic social teaching.
