About Our Lady of Peace

Established in 1922 to spare Clarence's eastern families the long drive to Akron or Williamsville for Sunday Mass, Our Lady of Peace grew from a small mission church founded by Rev. John Uriel into a full parish within the Diocese of Buffalo. The original 1922 building — now preserved as Uriel Hall — was granted local historic landmark status in 2024. The parish offers daily weekday Mass and a Saturday evening vigil.
