About St. Stanislaus Kostka -Shrines of Pittsburgh

Founded in 1875 as the first Polish parish in the Diocese of Pittsburgh, St. Stanislaus Kostka anchors the Strip District with its 1892 Polish Cathedral-style church by architect Frederick C. Sauer. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972, it became one of the diocese's five designated Shrine churches in 2019. Today it offers Sunday morning Masses, a Friday Mass, and a Saturday evening vigil.
