Tracing its roots to 1862 when Luxembourger immigrants settled in Aurora, Illinois, St. Nicholas parish built its current church in 1887 and has grown into a vibrant multicultural community in the Diocese of Rockford. Today the parish proclaims its mission of "Prayer, Word, and Sacrament" in both English and Spanish, offering five Sunday Masses — from an early 7:30 a.m. through a 5:00 p.m. — plus daily weekday Masses morning and evening.
