About St. Joseph

Catholic faith has been present on Mustang Island since at least 1885, and St. Joseph Parish — formally established by 1954 and elevated to parish status in 1993 — now serves both the permanent residents and the many vacationers who visit Port Aransas on the Texas Gulf Coast. The parish offers weekday morning Masses, a Saturday vigil, and two Sunday Masses, welcoming all who come through this coastal community within the Diocese of Corpus Christi.
