Saint Elizabeth Seton Church is a Roman Rite parish located in Ridgefield, CT, within the Diocese of Bridgeport. Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton (1774-1821) was the first American-born saint. She founded the Sisters of Charity of Saint Joseph and established the first free Catholic school for girls in the United States. She is recognized as the patron saint of Catholic schools.
