Monastery of the Immaculate Conception

A Passionist monastery on the western edge of St. Louis, the Monastery of the Immaculate Conception in Ellisville, Missouri is home to a community of cloistered Passionist nuns whose life of contemplative prayer is rooted in the memory of Christ's Passion. The monastery opens its chapel to the public for Mass on Saturdays and Sundays at 7:30 a.m., offering parishioners and visitors a rare opportunity to worship alongside an enclosed religious community within the Archdiocese of St. Louis.
