Founded in 1987 when the first Mass drew 190 worshippers to a rented warehouse, Santa Barbara Catholic Parish has grown into a vibrant center of Hispanic faith in Hialeah, Florida. Under the patronage of Saint Barbara, the Archdiocese of Miami parish — led by Father Fernando Orejuela HDM — celebrates daily Spanish Masses and four Sunday Masses, and moved into its current home blessed by Archbishop Favalora in 2000.
