Founded in 1983 on donated land and built by community volunteers in 1987, Our Lady of the Snows is a chapel of St. Anthony's Parish serving the lakeside community of Climax Springs in the Diocese of Jefferson City. Its most distinctive feature is a boat dock that ferries parishioners across the lake to Saturday vigil Mass each summer — a one-of-a-kind accommodation for its Ozarks setting.
