Our Lady of Mercy Chapel at Salve Regina University crowns the Ochre Point campus overlooking Newport's famed Cliff Walk. Consecrated in 2010 and designed by architect Robert A.M. Stern, the chapel showcases 13 opalescent glass windows created by renowned artist John La Farge and a bell tower housing three 1910 Meneely bells. Within the Diocese of Providence, Masses are offered during the academic year and are open to both the university community and greater Newport.
