Founded in 1906 by 34 families on the North Dakota prairie, St. Elizabeth in Sykeston has persisted for over a century in the Diocese of Fargo. The congregation worships in a sturdy brick-and-Kasota-stone church built in 1959, with a Parish Center added in 1982 for community gatherings. Today roughly 40 active families sustain the parish through strong lay involvement in liturgy, outreach, and the distinctly rural tradition of field blessing services.
