St. Peter Claver Catholic Community

St. Peter Claver Parish is a Roman Rite parish located in Detroit, Michigan, within the Archdiocese of Detroit. Saint Peter Claver was a Spanish Jesuit priest who dedicated his life to ministering to enslaved people in Cartagena, Colombia, during the 17th century. He is known for his work with those arriving on slave ships and is recognized as the patron saint of enslaved people, human rights, and Colombia.
