About Our Lady of Wayside

Our Lady of Wayside serves the small Southern Maryland community of Chaptico in St. Mary's County, one of the most historically Catholic regions in the United States. Part of the Archdiocese of Washington, the parish offers three Sunday Masses, daily weekday Masses Monday through Thursday, and observes First Friday and First Saturday Masses — traditions that reflect the deep-rooted Catholic devotional life characteristic of this corner of Maryland.
