McDonough Chapel at Saint Xavier University on Chicago's south side serves the campus community in the Sisters of Mercy tradition that has shaped the university since its founding. Campus Ministry gathers students, faculty, and staff for a Sunday evening Mass, a Wednesday noon Mass, and daily prayer rooted in the Mercy charism of compassionate service. The chapel is open for private prayer throughout the week and welcomes people of all faith backgrounds.
