St. Peter's Church

Saint Peter's Church in Torrington, Connecticut is a Maronite Catholic parish of the Eparchy of Saint Maron of Brooklyn, rooted in a Lebanese immigrant community established over a century ago. Under pastor Rev. Fadi Khawand, liturgies are celebrated in both English and Syriac — the ancient Semitic language of the Maronite tradition — at the Saturday vigil and Sunday morning Mass. The parish warmly welcomes parishioners of all ethnic backgrounds, honoring its Lebanese heritage while serving as a true Catholic neighborhood church.
