Founded in 1912 by Carpathian-Slovak immigrants seeking to worship in their Eastern tradition, St. Joseph Byzantine Catholic Church moved to its current Brecksville, Ohio campus in 1985—a church crowned by three traditional Byzantine cupola domes added in 1999 and adorned with a restored icon screen. Part of the Eparchy of Parma, this Ruthenian Catholic parish of nearly 300 families celebrates the Divine Liturgy Sunday mornings, a Saturday vigil, and three weekday mornings, with Vespers every Saturday and occasional Matins.
