Established around 1949 to serve both vacationers and permanent residents at Devils Lake, Saint Mary on the Lake in Manitou Beach, Michigan remains a welcoming lakeside parish in the Diocese of Lansing. Year-round Sunday Mass and a Thursday morning Mass with Eucharistic Adoration serve the local community, while a Saturday evening vigil is added from Memorial Day through Labor Day to accommodate the resort season.
