The UNO Newman Center is a Roman Rite parish located in New Orleans, Louisiana, within the Archdiocese of New Orleans. It is named after Saint John Henry Newman, an English cardinal and theologian who lived from 1801 to 1890. He was an influential figure in the Oxford Movement and is often considered a patron of students and Catholic education. He was canonized in 2019.
