About St. Martin
Established in 1851, St. Martin Church in Otter River stands as one of the oldest Catholic communities in the Diocese of Worcester and served historically as the mother church for 15 parishes across northwestern Massachusetts. Now a mission of Holy Cross Parish, this small but historically significant church continues Sunday Mass at 9:15 AM and maintains a Mary shrine whose marble benches date to 1903.
