Founded in 1979, St. Germaine Catholic Church grew from a first Mass of about 60 worshippers at the Prescott Valley Community Center into a parish of the Diocese of Phoenix whose patron was chosen by parishioner vote in 1980. Living its motto "Building, Blessing, Becoming the Body of Christ," the parish offers a full weekly rhythm of morning and evening weekday Masses, a Saturday vigil, English Sunday liturgies, a Spanish-language Sunday Mass, and perpetual adoration.
