St. Eloi anchors the farming community of Ghent in southwestern Minnesota as part of the Good Teacher Area Faith Community in the Diocese of New Ulm. Under Pastor Fr. Todd Petersen and three permanent deacons, the parish fosters a rich associational life — from the Catholic Order of Foresters and the CCW to the St. Therese of the Child Jesus Quilt Guild — and maintains a special connection with the Sisters of Mary the Morning Star, whose convent hosts daily noon Mass through the week.
