St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church has served the western Phoenix suburb of Avondale, Arizona since around 1923, celebrating its centennial jubilee in 2023. Today the parish is home to more than 9,000 registered families, an on-site K–8 Catholic school with over 500 students, and daily 8:00 a.m. Mass — plus four Sunday liturgies — under the leadership of Parochial Administrator Fr. Bryan Buenger in the Diocese of Phoenix.
