Formed in November 2005 from the merger of Precious Blood and St. Francis de Sales parishes, St. Peter Claver Catholic Community celebrates Sunday Eucharist at Marygrove College's Sacred Heart Chapel on Detroit's northwest side. The community is part of D4Mission, a collaborative family of five neighboring parishes, and honors African American Catholic heritage through banners commemorating six "Saints To Be Known." A St. Vincent de Paul food pantry serves neighbors every Tuesday.
