State College Byzantine Catholic Community is a Ruthenian Byzantine Catholic mission serving central Pennsylvania under the Byzantine-Ruthenian Archeparchy of Pittsburgh, in full communion with Rome. Centered at St. Basil parish in State College, the community also includes Dormition of the Mother of God in Clarence and St. John the Baptist in Hawk Run, with pastoral care provided by Fr. James Ragan and two deacons. Sunday Divine Liturgy is celebrated at 3:00 PM, with Saturday Liturgy offered twice monthly.
